To be a great songwriter, it takes commitment to a lifestyle of developing the tools and concepts that will allow you to evolve over a lifetime. Songwriting, like any other discipline, requires practice to develop the muscles that allow you to become proficient and accomplished. When expressing your own feelings through music, no-one can technically tell you that something is right or wrong. However, there is no doubt that some songs are better than others, and the attention and time put in when choosing notes, lyrics, chords, topics, etc, can be what separates mediocre from exceptional. These tracks are designed to push you towards the latter.
